Berkley Transactional has opened positions for two new Transactional Risk Underwriters. We are looking for candidates that have experience as: (i) Transactional Risk Underwriters or Brokers; (ii) M&A Associates; or (iii) Accounting, Tax, Financial or other M&A Professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, law firms and customers;
- Review transactional documents to assess M&A exposures;
- Collaborate with team in fast-paced environment;
- Negotiate and draft insurance contract language.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor, MBA, CPA or Business degree with strong related experience;
- Two to five years of experience working in M&A, Tax or Accounting roles;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Knowledge of private equity and insurance underwriting is a plus.
Location: Our offices are in Morristown NJ and Midtown Manhattan.
